Cognitive Connections

“Eventually everything connects – people, ideas, objects. The quality of the connections is the key to quality per se.” -Charles Eames

Cognitive Connections is a workshop designed specifically for individuals with a diagnosis of mild to moderate dementia. Based on principles of cognitive stimulation therapy, it combines social interaction with organized activities intended to stimulate memory, concentration, and other cognitive processes.* A new 8-week session is starting soon. *The Cognitive Connections Workshop is not a therapy group. The exercises used in this workshop are based on cognitive stimulation therapy, an evidence-based intervention for dementia. There is currently no cure for dementia. However, social interaction and mental stimulation are valuable supports for those living with the disease.
